A Summer of Crochet: New Creations from YarnHeals

A Summer of Crochet: New Creations from YarnHeals
The long summer vacation is finally coming to an end. How has everyone been spending their summer?
Before the new season begins, I’d like to share some of the crochet pieces I’ve recently finished. This summer, I tried different colors, patterns, and techniques—and, as always, some turned out better than I expected, while others taught me something new.
A Cute Little Pouch for Everyday Essentials
I made this small flower pouch with women’s everyday needs in mind. It’s perfect for carrying sanitary products, but it’s also just the right size for tissues, lipstick, earphones, and other small essentials.
Cute and practical, it’s a little pouch that can easily become part of your everyday routine.
Classic Checkered Card Holders
I’ve been experimenting with different color combinations for these checkered card holders.
There are so many beautiful and detailed patterns in crochet, but I find myself drawn to simple checkered designs. They have a classic, timeless feel that I hope will continue to appeal to people in the future.
A Button-Style Card Holder
I also tried making a button-style card holder using a slightly different crochet technique.
I chose colors that work well for both men and women and added a divider in the middle. It may look simple and understated, but that little divider makes it surprisingly practical for organizing cards.
A Rainbow-Inspired Experiment
My daughter loves rainbows, so I wanted to try making something with rainbow colors.
Honestly, the finished piece didn’t turn out quite as nicely as I had imagined! Sometimes an idea looks wonderful in your head, but the final result tells you something completely different. 😅
Still, that’s part of the fun of making things by hand. Every experiment gives me something new to learn.
An Unexpected Color Combination
For this little handbag, I used light blue and yellow.
Neither color seemed particularly attractive to me on its own, but when I put them together, I was pleasantly surprised by the result. Sometimes the most unexpected combinations can turn out to be the most interesting.
Which One Is Your Favorite?
These are some of the pieces I’ve been working on recently.
I’d love to know what you think. Which one is your favorite? And is there a color combination, pattern, or crochet item you’d like to see me try next?
Feel free to leave a comment and share your thoughts. I’d love to exchange ideas with fellow crochet and handmade craft lovers.
And what will I make next?
Let’s wait and see together. ✨
Until next time, happy crocheting!
