A Little Panda, A Gentle Wish

In Japan, many people loved Xiang Xiang, the giant panda who brought countless smiles to everyone who met her. When she returned to China, many felt as though they were saying goodbye to a dear friend.

That feeling inspired me to crochet a little panda of my own—one that could stay close by every day.

This little panda loves to lie quietly in the sunshine, stretching out on the grass and enjoying the warmth of nature. Looking at it, I can't help but imagine a life without rushing, where every day is filled with peaceful moments and simple happiness.

Perhaps that's why I wanted to make it.

Not only because pandas are adorable, but because they remind me to slow down, take a deep breath, and appreciate the little joys that are often easy to overlook.
